The Pelikan Souveran D625 dark red transparent was Introduced in 2007

The pencil is made from a dark red translucent resin and sterling silver components with a palladium coating to prevent tarnishing.

The pencil works with a twist mechanism and accepts 0.7mm leads

The pencil is not boxed however a nice two pen Pelikan black leather pouch is included
