A Montblanc Great Characters John Lennon 1940 Limited Edition rollerball pen

This one has been used so some light traces of normal use overall excellent condition.

A tribute to a contemporary legend of music and art, who supported younger contemporary talent, as well as a tribute to the world-famous co-founder and lead singer of the Beatles and role model for younger talent. John Lennon celebrated the 70th anniversary of his life and achievements in 2010. The edition is limited to 1940 pieces due to the year of his birth. The design is inspired by the Strawberry Field Memorial in Central Park of New York. The clip symbolises a guitar neck, inspired by Lennon’s Gibson guitar. Additionally the clip is enriched with blue tanzanite, referencing his beloved blue eyewear. The cone is embellished with a piano staff and engraved with the date of the release of his most famous song “Imagine”.

The pens cap is screw on and the pen accepts rollerball or fineliner refills ( pen fitted with new blue ink refill )

The pen comes complete with all its original boxes and documents, this includes large presentation case, outer card box, protective outer card sleeve , info book . ( inside box material flaking a little )
