A Montblanc Patron of the Arts Peter the Great 4810 Limited Edition Fountain pen

This one has never been used never inked in fact the pen is still factory sealed so never handled and comes boxed and with its documents.

Montblanc have released a Patron of the arts Limited Edition every year since 1992 and the Peter the great is from 1997

Dark green resin body, the yellow gold-plated ornamentation overlays with themes from Russian tsar court, surrounded by laurel wreath, Montblanc star adorns the cap top, 18K gold engraved nib depicts a two-headed eagle, a motif from the iconography of the age of the tsars.

Moved by the spirit of the Enlightenment, Tsar Peter the Great led the Russian Empire out of it’s cultural isolation into the center of the great nations of Europe. He started the first Russian newspaper, founded the first state museum of Russia, with a public library, and the Russian Academy of Science, This was built in the city named after this great Tsar- St. Petersburg

The pens nib is made from 18K gold and is a M = medium in size

It is a Limited Edition number 4735 / 4810.

The pen comes complete with its outer card box  , wooden presentation case info booklets.
