Montblanc Writers Edition Homage to Homer Limited Edition 1581 Fountain Pen

A rare new Writers Edition Homage to Homer limited edition 1581 fountain pen by Montblanc.

This one has never been used never been inked and is complete with all its boxes and booklets.

Only 1581 ever made and this one is number 406

This Writers Edition takes its main inspiration from the story of the Trojan horse. The overall shape is inspired by the horse, with the back and clip reflecting the spear. The engraving on the cone and rings borrows motifs from traditional Greek black-figured pottery. The coral color of the barrel also takes inspiration from pottery, while the engraved pattern on the cap is inspired by the armor of Archilles – the central figure of the Iliad.

The pens cap is screw on and the pen is a piston filler.

The pens nib is made from 18K  gold and is a B= broad in size.

The pen comes complete with its outer card box, outer white card sleeve, book style presentation case info booklets and completed out of date warranty card.( outer card white box is worn )
