A rare writers limited edition Friedrich Schiller writing Autograph pen set by Montblanc.
The pen set is new never used never been inked and comes fully boxed.
This one comes with the additional rarer autograph set, so additional presentation case and hand written copy of a letter by Schiller
The limited edition set consists of a fountain pen, ballpoint and mechanical pencil.
Montblanc have released a writers limited edition every year since 1992 and the Friedrich Schiller is from 2000
This edition is dedicated to Friedrich Schiller, the great German poet, philosopher, playwright and historian of the second half of the 1700s, famous for his splendid poems and for having written grandiose dramas such as “I Masnadieri”, “Maria Stuarda”, “Wallenstein” and the “William Tell”.
Montblanc Friedrich Schiller Set is made of amber, a material that in Schiller’s time symbolized the changes taking place in society. The elaborate workmanship combined with the simple elegance of the precious gold-plated finishes evokes the style of the heyday of Weimar classicism. Schiller’s signature is engraved on the cap. The refined engraving of the 18K gold nib represents a small crossbow, in homage to “William Tell”, one of the author’s best-known works.
The fountain pen cap is screw on and the pen is a piston filler.
The pens nib is made from 18K gold and is a M= medium in size.
