A rare to find Pelikan M300 Green and Black fountain pen
This one has never been used never inked and is fully boxed
The M300 was discontinued in 2020 so is now becoming hard to find especially in new boxed condition.
In the year 1929 Pelikan was the first company in the world to introduce the differentiated piston mechanism. This technique causes the spindle inside the fountain pen to turn quicker than the end piece of the barrel, with the help of two different threads. To this date, this fountain pen exists in many different variations, and though it has been developed in design and technical details over time, the basic mechanism remains the same.
The M300 is the smallest of the Pelikan range measuring 11cm with closed cap
Featuring a sleek green striped semi translucent barrel resin barrel, black cap and gold plated trim
The nib is made from 14C gold and is a F = fine in size
The pen comes with a Pelikan presentation case, outer card box, material pouch, info book and service guide book
